At BEST, we were lucky to welcome FC Cancún, a club and academy that traveled all the way from Mexico to join us for an unforgettable 10-day COMPETITION program. Three of their teams, U11, U12, and U14, along with their families came to Madrid ready to experience the best of football and soak up our sporting culture.
We made sure they felt right at home: comfortable accommodation for rest and focus, complete meal plans, and of course, all the logistics covered so they could fully dedicate themselves to playing and enjoying.
Over these days, they took part in some of the top youth tournaments in the Madrid area, with the Madrid Easter Cup as the main highlight. A tournament that brought together top teams like FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Sporting de Lisboa, Valladolid, Leganés, and Rayo Vallecano, as well as many other international clubs.
But it wasn’t all about the competition: there was also time for leisure and for discovering the city. And to top it all off, a special moment that lit up everyone’s eyes attending a La Liga match between Leganés and FC Barcelona.
The FC Cancún players had the amazing chance to watch the warm-up from the pitch itself, just a few meters away from their idols like Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Lewandowski. A true football celebration to crown this adventure.
