On August 22, 23 and 24, we celebrated the second edition of the BEST CUP at the Municipal Stadium of Can Xaubet in Pineda de Mar, our youth category tournament. This new edition marked a big step forward, expanding from 1 to 3 days of competition and from 4 to 8 participating teams.
The tournament featured a line-up of top-level teams from Spain’s First Division, coming from different parts of the country: FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF, Real Betis, Girona FC and RCD Espanyol. The roster was completed by the international players’ selection created by our partner Next Era, the historic CE Sabadell FC, and the local host team, Aqua Hotel FC.
For three days, fans enjoyed a true spectacle of youth football, with an outstanding level of play that attracted more than 4,500 spectators to the stadium and surpassed 20,000 viewers via the online streaming. In the end, RCD Espanyol lifted the trophy after a magnificent performance that crowned them champions of this edition.
The BEST CUP 2024 was also made possible thanks to the support of a line-up of premium sponsors, including RENFE, Estrella Damm, Veri, BonÀrea, Frit Ravich, Goldbus, Pura Brasa, DWO Hotels and 11 Team Sports.
An authentic celebration of youth football, consolidating the BEST CUP as a benchmark platform for the development and promotion of the best young talent in our country.
